Create a Bill of Materials (BOM) Template to prefill the Bill of Materials with a predetermined list of materials specific to a project.

Who can access the BOM Templates reference

Employees assigned the Project Library Manager role have full access to the BOM Templates reference.

Prepare a BOM Template

1. Open the BOM Templates reference via Quick Launch.
2. In the BOM Templates reference, click the Create Record option at the top left.
3. In the new BOM Template card, complete the mandatory fields:
   • Enter the Name.
   • Select the Project. This template will be available for Build Plans BOM under the selected project.
   • Click Save.
   • Define the list of materials to be imported from the template.
     • Note: Materials must be added to the Project Price List to be available for the template.
   • Set the default quantity (QTY) for each material.

After completing these steps, the template will be available for selection using the Add from Template option in the BOM card.
