Required Access
This can be resolved by a user with Time Keeping Admin (TKA) access. If you are a Reviewer, contact your TKA for assistance.
Circumstances
For TKAs, how you resolve this depends on the circumstances:
- Are any of the Approved days in the past or present?
- If yes, are the days in a Closed Payroll Period?
- If yes, the time cannot be easily corrected, contact support@fieldclix.com for help.
- If no, see below under "How to Remove Reason / PTO from Worked Day"
- If no, see below under "Remove Future TC"
- If yes, are the days in a Closed Payroll Period?
How to Remove Reason / PTO from Worked Day (Open Period)
Question:
- Are any of the days for Paid Time-Off?
- If yes, see below under "Remove Reason / Hours from TC"
- If no, see below under "Remove Future TC"
Remove Reason / Hours from TC - FCX web
- Open the Time Cards dashboard and select the Time Card.
- Switch to the Payroll Allocation tab.
- Click the pencil icon next to the Reason field to edit.
- Clear the Reason field and click Save—this removes the reason hours from the table.
- For manually edited PTO/holiday hours: Click Edit on the table, delete rows with the trash button, then Save.


Remove Reason / Hours from TC - FCX Desktop
- Open the Time Cards reference:
- From the Fieldclix home screen, on the Home tab (Run group), click Quick Launch.
- Search "Time Cards," select the Time Cards Reference (blue book icon), and click OK.
- Filter to find the Time Card(s).
- Switch to the Payroll Allocation tab in the Main Content pane.
- Locate time-off hours by Cost Type, click > to the left of the row, and select Delete.
- On the TC, in the Main Content pane, under any tab, find the Reason field and delete whatever is in it.
- Click Save.
Open the TCs Reference and open the TC in question:

Delete the relevant rows in the Payroll Allocation table:

On the TC, in the Main Content pane, under any tab, find the Reason field and delete whatever is in it:

Remove Future TC - FCX Desktop
A TKA can Delete TCs in open Periods.
Time Keeping Admins (TKAs) can delete Time Cards in open periods. First, delete connected Requests, as the system blocks direct deletion.
- Delete connected Requests:
- On the Time Card, go to More tab (Navigation group) > Bound Records dropdown > Time Keeping Requests.
- Select Requests, then Home tab (Record group) > Delete.
- Close the window.
- On the Time Vard, More tab (Record group) > Delete.
Delete Requests connected to the TC:

On the TC ribbon "More" tab, in the "Record" group, click "Delete" to delete the TC:
