Asset Transfer/Change condition Notifications

Modified on Mon, Jun 23 at 11:35 AM

The system provides various notification types for assets, specifically when an asset is being transferred or when an asset holder reports a change in an asset's condition (i.e., its state). These notifications are crucial for maintaining asset visibility and ensuring timely responses to changes in asset lifecycle or operational status.

Flexible Notification Configuration

Asset notification configurations offer significant flexibility, allowing for tailored communication. Notifications can be set up to use different channels and target specific receivers:

Notification Channels:

  • Email: Sent directly to specified notification receivers.
  • In-System Notification: Displayed within the user's FCX inbox.

Notification Receivers:

  • Specific individual employees.
  • Defined user groups.
  • The Asset Source Holder (the person from whom the asset is being transferred).
  • The Asset Target Holder (the person to whom the asset is being transferred).

This flexible setup ensures that relevant stakeholders are promptly informed about critical asset events, facilitating efficient asset management and decision-making.
