Who can open dashboard

Employees of FSMFinancial use group can work with the WIP Summary dashboard.

What Dashboard contains

The dashboard shows key indicators of your company's financial performance and their variations with time. Indicators such as total profit and loss, percentage of service revenue profit margin, the WIP value and so on. 

Using different filters you can display data for a certain Build Plan Owner, Project, Class, Customer, or date.

The top table presents revenue, spend by type, positive or negative gross and WIP indicators. Values are displayed within a specific time periods.

To calculate Revenue and Spend amounts, we take Financial Distribution of particular Financial Accounts.

• Revenue — all FDs of “Total Revenue” FA.
• Spend — FDS by source type. We take the entire group of FDs related to spends and grouped them over the source type.
• Gross — the difference between Revenue and Spend. 
• WIP Delta — Change to Date WIP, which is equal to the difference of Current WIP and Previous Month Closed WIP.  Read here how we calculate WIP.
• WIP Adjusted P&L — the difference between Gross and WIP Delta.

A column chart compares data across P&L and Adjusted P&L for the last 12 months. It also shows the changing trend of WIP Delta over time.

Dashboard functionality

• Use filters to build a report on a specific set of data.
• Zoom in/out on the graph.
• Show/Hide data on the graphic. Click on the appropriate indicator in the graph legend to display the desired data.
