Certain Build Plans (BPs) can be excluded from Work-in-Progress (WIP) calculations, including those reflected in the Profit & Loss (P&L) and WIP Dashboard, as well as the Budget Table within each Build Plan.
Exclusion Options
- Individual Build Plan: You can exclude a specific BP from WIP calculations.
- Entire Project: Excluding a project will automatically exclude all BPs associated with that project from WIP calculations.
Locations of the "Exclude from WIP" Checkbox
There are three areas where the "Exclude from WIP" option is available:

| Project Card | Excludes all Build Plans within the project from WIP calculations |
| Scenario Card | Sets default exclusion for newly generated BPs. Each BP generated will inherit the checkbox state, but toggling the checkbox in the scenario card itself does not retroactively exclude or include all BPs of the scenario. This is different from the project-level exclusion, which applies to all BPs under the project. |
| Build Plan card | Excludes the selected BP only, regardless of project-level settings |
