FCX Notifications
In the FCX System, we can configure the types of notifications a user will receive. FCX Notifications are triggered by specific events which can be customized for each client, as well as notification delivery methods.
There are a lot of types of notifications in the FCX System. Let's look through them quickly:
- Asset transfer
- BOM Stage change
- Build Plan updates
- Work Order Stage change
- Publish Work Order Dispatch Schedule
- Change Dispatch Schedule
- Cancel Work Order Dispatch Schedule
- TAR Result
- Employee clocked in/out
- FieldClix mobile Force Clock out
- Mobile device GPS is off
- Material COGS changes
- Inventory Transaction Journal Stage change
- VIM Purchase Order Expiration Notification
- etc.
At this point in time the following notification channels are available:
- System notifications — located in your Inbox folder in the desktop FCX System.
- Email — notifications will be sent to the email specified in the Employee's Card.
- Text — notifications will be sent via SMS to the cell phone set in the Employee's Card.
- Telegram Chat — lets Employees receive Build Plan Chats notifications in Telegram.
Notifications delivery is maintained by a special service. This service enqueues created notifications and sends them one by one. If, for some reason, the service cannot deliver notification after several attempts (wrong email or cell phone, Employee isn't included in a BP chat), sending will be stopped.
To receive notifications in Telegram you should subscribe to the Fieldclix Bot.
