Initiate or Accept Equipment Transfer via My Assets

TABLE OF CONTENTS


Use My Assets module in the FCX mobile app to initiate or accept assets transfer. Mobile User transfers can always be overridden by Asset Manager.

Use Long-Press on an asset to access the transfer/ condition update menu.




Initiate Equipment Transfer

Initiate Transfer: Long-Press Asset in App.



Select Recipient Employee via Direct Name Search. You must tap SEARCH to locate an Employee — search is not automatic. 

Add notes to Asset Manager.



Assets in-process of transfer are still shown in the My Assets list (in red).

As soon as the recipient accepts the transfer, this asset will be removed from the My Assets list.


Transfers in FCX App DO NOT Move Kits.








Accept Equipment Transfer via My Assets

Asset in-process of transfer to me is shown in My Assets in green.

Accept Transfer: Long-Press Received Asset in App.

Notes to Asset Manager are required to accept transfer.





Cancel Equipment Transfer I Initiated or Received

Cancel Outgoing Equipment Transfer





Cancel Incoming Equipment Transfer





Take Optional Photos / Videos While Initiating / Accept / Cancel Asset Transfer

If configured by your Asset / Category Manager, an Asset Transfer Photo/Video Checklist may be available for use during equipment transfers. You will find a Checklist of Photo/Video Checklist Items on the Asset Transfer screen, beneath the Comments box and under the heading “Pictures.”


Each Photo / Video Checklist Item consists of a brief description and tapping one opens the Take Photo or Take Video Interface.

1. Tap Asset Checklist Item to Access Take Photo / Video Interface.

2. Tap the “Shutter” button at the bottom part of the Take Photo Interface to take a photo.


You immediately see the Review & Save Photo screen after taking or retaking a photo. Tap the green checkmark “Save” button to save the photo.


3. If you are not satisfied with the photo, you can tap the “Red Camera” or “Reshoot” button. This will return you to the Take Photo Interface. 


4. After tapping “Save” you are returned to the Checklist on the Transfer / Cancel Transfer screen.


Video is temporarily not available in Asset Photo / Video Checklists as of 04/20/2020. This feature will be restored in a future update.




Review / Retake Previously-Saved Photo

Tap a previously-saved Photo to review / retake Photo. Tap on the “Add New Photo” button to open the camera and retake a photo.
