Many users are familiar with Teams, but some are not, particularly if they have traditionally done in-person meetings or done their video calls with GoToMeeting, Zoom, Slack or another service.
Teams is similar to other videoconferencing platforms. One difficulty with Teams is it allows you to share a whole screen, just one window or just one application. The interface for choosing what to share is confusing. The below screenshots explain it:
