Resources available to schedule shown on Dispatch Calendar
Resources are listed on the Calendar per Employee Name, not Resource Name.
A Multi-Market Employee is not shown as available if he/she is scheduled in any Market.
Available resources are sorted by Employee Categories, then alphabetically inside the category.
Make informed, collaborative Dispatches from the Calendar
Read about the Dispatch Calendar functionality and features here.
- Work with the Dispatch Calendar filters to schedule visually.
- Review Past / Future Schedule in the Dispatch Calendar.
Scroll through all past / future Dispatches to be informed by trends in scheduling decisions.
- Resource Pool on the Dispatch Calendar shows available/unavailable people.
Refer to “Not Available Resources” (like PTOs) and “Available Resources” (resources yet scheduled to any WO) when planning crews/assignments.

- Remote Hotel. Mostly informational, but can be used by special Audits as well.
- Use GEO Fence to automatically define WO. This parameter is populated from WO Type and not available for editing in the Dispatch Card.

Fix Work Resolution Problems
Ad Hoc Work Order General Information
From time to time you may not be able to completely resolve work according to the standard workflow process set up during BP generation. This happens when, for example, a crew was deployed to a Site to resolve an issue but failed to resolve it.
To fix work resolution problems like this, the BPO can create an Ad Hoc WO.
An Ad Hoc WO can be used, for example, to redeploy a crew to a Site to troubleshoot a recurring problem.
When an Ad Hoc WO is created, a new WO is generated from one of the Work Order Types (WO Types) designed by the Project Library Manager (PLM) for the Project of which the BP is a part.
The PLM is a user with full access to Work Order Types Reference. So, the PLM determines which WOs are available to add to a BP as Ad Hoc WOs. The PLM can also add optional WOs specifically designed for the situation where an Ad Hoc WO would be needed, like the above example of redeployment to a Site. These optional WOs are not part of normal BP generation and are only added later if the BPO decides they are needed.
Find more here about WO Types settings.
To add an Ad Hoc WO to an existing BP:
- Find and open the BP card.
- On the ribbon Home tab, in the FSM group, click Add New WO.
- The “Work Order Types – Selection” window displays all WOs for this Project and Scenario, which the PLM allowed to be added as Ad Hoc WOs.
- Select a WO Type you would like to add as an Ad Hoc WO to the BP.
"Add New WO" action in the Build Plan Card is available for Build Plan Owners, Project Owners, and Members of BP's Project Roles.
Ad Hoc WOs may need to be scheduled by the BPO.
