What is the User Group in the FCX system?

User Group: users combined by the organizational setup and job functions. Users of the same group have similar rights to components (dashboards, references, reports, scripts) or system objects (folders, documents).

Description

Administrators

Administrators are backed up by full access to components.

All Users

All Users — one of the basic system user groups. It gives access to general components of FCX System, controls document access rights.

All Employees fall under this group.

Accountants and Bookkeepers

Accounts and Bookkeepers are responsible for configuring finance module including GL Codes and Financial Accounts. They have full access to financial references including Employee Cost Rates.

Access to BP Labor Cost Report.

Asset Managers

Asset Managers are responsible for asset management including configuring for new asset categories, creating new asset records and assigning assets to locations and employees.

Budget Managers

Budget Managers answer for drawing up Build Plans Budget. They have full access to Project/Build Plan Budgets.

Directors and Executives

Acces to "Financial Analysis" Reports.
Access to BP Labor Cost Report.

FSM Build Plans Managers

Access to:

all Build Plans in Build Plan Reference, but can change associated BPs only and see certain tabs in BP: General, Details (Milestones, Documents, BP History, Tasks, Map, Work Orders). Read more here.

dashboards: Inventory Dashboard, TC Review, Labor, Crew Lead, Inventory Dashboard, Live Map, TK App, Calendar, BP

FSMFinancial

Access to:

all Financial Objects in all Build Plans according to Build Plan Card access rules
dashboards: WIP, Status, P&L, Executive Daily, Daily, Crew Lead.
access to only associated BPs in dashboards

HR Managers

The participants of this User Group have full access to Employee Card, Employee Cost Rates, and Labor Cost History. They can manage Employee Roles.

Access to BP Labor Cost Report.

IC Administrators

IC Administrators hold responsibility for material management. They administer a material library including material items, COGS, price list.

Procurement

To create and manage Bill of Materials, Material Purchase Request and Inventory Transactions Journal processes for the purpose of Transferring and Purchasing Materials for Inventory.

Project Library Managers

Users of this group are responsible for designing and building Project Templates: the template includes a set of parameters (Scenarios, Build Plans, Work Orders) for all work to be done in a Project at all Sites.

Time Keeping Managers

Full access to Time Cards, Time Cards Reasons and Time Entries.

TK Managers manage and control Payroll Periods (exclude Cost Rates data).

TK Managers TCR Interface is fully functioning version of interface: available all Time Cards, filters, tools.

Access to reports "Time Keeping".

WarehouseLeads

To manage the kitting, shipping, receiving and stocking of inventory items to be used for site builds. Also, includes managing the return of items unused by field crews.

To access to Inventory Dashboard.

Component Access Type

Several component access type can be distinguished:

View only — view Reference; cannot create, change, delete Reference Records.
Change only — view, make changes, but cannot create and delete new Reference Records.
Full Access except delete — view, create, change, but cannot delete Reference Records.
Full Access — view, create, change, delete Reference Records.
Execute — run report.
Full access to dashboard —acess to a full version

FSM BP Managers and FSM Financial can see only associated BPs in dashboards. Associated Build Plans (BPs) are BPs where the Employee is a Project Owner, or a Build Plan Owner, or a BP's Project Role Member.
Access to all BPs in dashboards is controlled by Employee Roles 'All Direct Cost BPs Financial', 'Full Financial'.  Read more about Employee Roles.
