Client Invoice Management: Your Company Revenue at a Glance
Missed Fieldclix updates? Here's a fresh batch :)
This issue covers two CIM updates:
Three new dashboards — Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Invoices — a single place to see your company revenue across all Build Plans: what is quoted, what customers authorized, and what has been invoiced.
CIM PO Auto Capture — customer PO emails turned into Client Purchase Orders in Fieldclix, automatically.
Find the dashboards under CIM in the main menu.
Access
Menu: Financial role required.
Data: Same rules as the CIM tab on a Build Plan — you see records only for Build Plans where you have finance access (BP Owner, Project Owner, Project Role with Finance Access, All Direct Cost Build Plans, Full Financial, etc.).
Sales Orders
All Client Sales Orders across your accessible Build Plans in one grid: stage, customer, Build Plan, totals, Remaining to Bill, Ready to Bill, Receivable, Paid.
Filters: Build Plan state (default Active) and date range. Quick search, saved views, export.
From the grid: Open linked SO, Customer, Build Plan, or Work Order.
Documents Count → Related Documents.
New Sales Order (Desktop Integration) — pick a Build Plan first.
Purchase Orders
Two tabs:
Orders — PO number, customer, Build Plan, status, total, balance, invoiced amount. Filters by BP state and received date.
New Purchase Order via Desktop Integration.
Lines — line-level detail: description, balance, invoiced, Remaining to Allocate, linked Sales Order, Ready to Bill.
Invoices
All CIM Invoices in one place: stage, lifecycle dates, Invoice Amount, Tax Amount, Total with Tax, sync status. Links to SO, PO, Customer, Build Plan. Same filters and grid tools as above.
Invoices are still created from the Sales Order card (desktop) — the dashboard is for visibility, not issuing new invoices.
CIM PO Auto Capture
We also have a tool for this — CIM PO Auto Capture. When a customer emails a PDF purchase order, Fieldclix can create a Client Purchase Order automatically: lines filled in, original PDF attached. Your team reviews it and continues as usual.
It recognizes common PO formats (Mastec, Verizon, American Tower, and others) — less re-keying, fewer errors.
This is not turned on by default. To use it, write to us — we'll walk you through how it works and set everything up for your instance.
That's it for this one. The dashboards are live — open CIM in the menu and take a look when you have a minute.
And if PO Auto Capture sounds like something your team needs — same deal: drop us a line.
